If you read my recent post about my eczema then you’ll know that now the colder months have officially arrived, so has my eczema. One of the places that I get my eczema is my face and it can be pretty hard to cover when I’m in the midst of a flare-up. Foundation doesn’t quite do it so when I was given the opportunity to try out Keromask’s full coverage make-up, I knew I had to take up the offer.
Keromask specialises in camouflage makeup and is designed to disguise all skin imperfections, including: acne, vitiligo, rosacea, scars, stretch marks, under-eye dark circles and unwanted tattoos.
I ordered the Translucent Mineral Rich Loose Finishing Powder which is designed to set the foundation and help keep it waterproof as well as prepare the skin for additional products to be applied, e.g. eye shadows and blushers. I’ve used loads of finishing powders over the year and when I put applied this product, I have to admit I wasn’t a huge fan of the formula. It didn’t leave me with the smooth feeling that setting powders usually do. However, there’s no denying that it works, and it works well.
Now, onto the products that you all want to hear about; the Camouflage Creams. I chose a couple of shades as well as a white mixer so that I could make sure I have the right tone to last me all winter…even during prime pale time! With this cream, a little goes a long way so although the tube seems small, it’ll last for ages.
The creams cover eczema amazingly and don’t even leave a trace that it’s there. In fact, I kind of wish I had a tattoo just so that I could test it because I’ve been genuinely impressed.
Have you used camouflage makeup before? What are your thoughts?
