Minty fresh dental care with Splat

Is there any better feeling than squeaky clean teeth and minty fresh breath? Nope, I can’t think of anything either. But how does long does this feeling really last? 30 minutes, an hour if we’re lucky. I’m always on the look out for a new life changing toothpaste or the latest mouthwash that’s been approved by the world’s best dentist. Basically, I’m a sucker for a dental care product with good marketing. If I’m honest, when I was contacted by Splat Oral Care, I kind of expected the same thing; an over hyped dental care range that provides the same products as other brands but with different packaging. Never the less, I decided to give the products a go to see whether they really could make a difference to my oral hygiene.

That minty feeling isn’t all that I desire when it comes to looking after my teeth, gimme’ all the whitening products. Now that my fake tan days are behind me, my skin no longer makes my teeth appear glistening white so there’s a fair few whitening products I’ve tried in the past. I’ve been using Splat’s Biocalcium and Blackwood Charcoal toothpastes for a good few weeks now, alternating between the two and I genuinely do believe that my teeth have become whiter. Although the charcoal toothpaste doesn’t leave me with the clean and minty fresh feeling that the biocalcium paste does, I think this is the real star of the show when it comes to the whiter gnashes.

The other product that I’ve been using is the Splat Express Oral Care Foam. Foam isn’t a product that I’ve used before but both me, and Liam, are total converts. It is a total game changer and I’m not even exaggerating. It’s pretty much a mixture of toothpaste and mouthwash that can be used on the go without the need for a toothbrush or water AND it leaves you with super minty breath too, for a good few hours!

Overall, I am a Splat convert. My initial judgement that it would just be the same as any other brand was wrong and the products are genuinely fantastic.
