This is not a very happy blog post, I will warn you. Yesterday along with the mascara I bought foundation, I didn’t spend anywhere as long as I usually do trying and browsing before I buy because I was in a rush. I had completely run out of foundation and not wearing any the next day was a complete no no so I just had to make do with the selection that was there. I have only ever really used Maybelline’s mascaras before Great Lash and that yellow one (?) which I didn’t like as ther bruush was so huge. Anyway, I don’t know why I grabbed this foundation I just did I tested the colour of course and went for Nude. Read More
No it’s not an actual book club, rather a really appreciable nice West end of Glasgow pub/bar/restaurant and just a general nice guy. Monday Monday and a welcomed day off of work for me, my sister and I decided to meet for lunch, she attends university in the West end so the location was already selected. We had been to the Hill Head Book Club (HHBK) before and with our stomachs demanding a quick decision we decided to go there again, when you walk in you are immediately drawn to the ornate elevated ceilings:
It draws you in and prompts you to have a little look around while deciding where to sit, it seems strange to say but there is a wide selction of different places to sit from propping up the bar to little cosy booths and up the stairs to more intimate tables for two and big squishy sofa; oh and a ping pong table! Just a quick post to let you know (as I know you will want to) about the amazing meal out I had last night. We decided to go to an Italian called Piccolo Mondo, where we had been to before and the food was fantastic. I am just quickly going to tell you what I had, unfortunately i didn’t get pictures of the starter or main (was too hungry and had finished them both by the time I realised I should blog about it!) I did however manage to get a picture of my dessert. Read More
Well I don’t know if this is a review as so much as a rave as I absolutely love this product! For those of you who are not aware Sleek are a relatively new British cosmetics company who aim to provide a comprehensive makeup range for women. I have used Sleek before I bought one of their face and body highlighters, BIG mistake way too dark and completely unblendable a nightmare situation for any woman and their highlighter. Read More
Last Friday when I was out on a very exciting trip to the supermarket I thought I would pop into Boots, the Boots where I was is absolutely tiny so I wasn’t expecting much. I was initially going in to look for a hair colour and alas I found none, what I did find was a reduced Sanctuary Hot Polish Cleanser for £4.98 reduced from about £9.99! This was particularly significant to me as it was the only bottle sitting there and not two nights before I had been online at the very second of purchase of the Liz Earle famous, much adulated hot polish cleanser but for some reason I refrained and now I know why.
