Think Chanel Rouge Hydrabase in fire for the perfect moisturising red. Before you think about wearing a strong red exfoliate your lips to near perfection, smooth lips are a must, if all the attention is being drawn to your pout make sure it’s perfect. Dab one of your favourite lip balms onto your lips, using an old or not your current anyway toothbrush (!), gently buff your lips in circular motions to remove dried skin. You can leave a slick of lip balm on to act as a base for your lipstick. When using bright reds it’s a good idea to line your lips and apply with a lip brush to ensure an immaculate finish. Then blot with tissue, reapply and your set to go, channelling your inner screen goddess.
